Rural Charm

The small community of Templeton located between Atascadero and Paso Robles started out as the end of the line for the Union Pacific Railroad. In the laste 1880s, passengers traveling from San Fransisco would stop in Templeton then catch a statecoach to San Luis Obispo, Southern California, and beyond.

Templeton is also home to one of the areas largest hospitals, Twin Cities. This 84-bed medical/surgical acute care facilities has state of the are technology.

The surrounding countryside is dotted with ranches and farms that produce almonds, cherries, apples, grains,dairy, and an increasing grape population. 

Templeton is part of the Templeton Unified School District and features 2 elementry schools, 1 middle school, and 1 high school.
